Sunday Business Post-****4 Star Review "..their sound is distinctly grand and lush- and in Tadhg Hickey they have velvet voiced theatrical singer who knows how to delivery a witty lyric. There's is also some genuine intelligence underpinning their sturdy pop mechanics. On the outsanding Pish luscious chords and breezy vo...cals bely a poetically comedic tale of male high jinks.Hug is a beautifully expansive grower, featuring and angst-ridden soliloquy during an audaciosly dramatic pause, while You Got Burned beats out echoes of 1980s house with a hint of hellfire and menace that just gets better and better as it goes. It's early days but EPBAB have set a high standard for Irish albums in 2011.

    Daily Star - ****4 Stars

"Brilliant.....Really strong (self-titled) debut album from Exit: Pursued By A Bear. Ten tracks on it, and not a bad one in there."

    Dan Hegarty 2FM "

"really like what they do...interesting lyrics, artwork, interesting approach to song writing and the music is good too.... a very intriguing band"

    Paul Mcloone - TodayFM

"Amédée – one of the best EP's of 2010" – Dan Hegarty (RTE, 2FM)

Album review from wearnosie gave debut album a score of 81%, click here to read full review.

Album launch from the Cork collective (reviewed elsewhere on Noise) and certainly the best thing they have put on CD to date. Always one of those ‘hard-to-define’ acts, EPBAB can switch from acoustic-to-electric-to-ambient-to-thumping pretty effortlessly ensuring they remain as interesting as they do elusive. ‘Interpretive burlesque pole dancing’ in store on the night. The mind boggles. - (wearnoise)

    "band to watch in 2011" – Rob O'Connor (Beat 102 103)

"…. The raw philosophical nature of [exit: pursued by a bear's] songs is likely to provoke only the most stimulating debate. With "Pish!" the band allude to The Smiths but manage to surpass even those lofty comparisons" – Hot Press (June 2010)

"Exit: Pursued By A Bear's extraordinary performance at the recent IMRO Showcase saw the band jump into hyperspace. It was their most fluid realization of their sound yet." – Don O'Mahony, Cork Evening Echo

"rather splendid"– Hot Press, November 2010
